Meanwhile free observation seating’s set up on Kandy Lake Round for Central Provincial Council members, government officials and their families have been sold around 2000 rupees per seat.
Central Provincial Council member Tilina Bandara Tennakoon said although the seating on Lake Round were given free last year, they have been sold this time.

It is regrettable to mention that certain persons have used the historical Asala Perehera to make money.
