Has accepted an invitation from President Mahinda Rajapaksa to be part of the panel advising the Presidential Commission on missing persons.

Kaushal of Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra, an NGO, has told The Hindu newspaper he received a telephone call from the President inviting him to be in the panel.

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has decided to expand the panel of international experts.

British lawyers Desmond de Silva and Geoffrey Nice and U.S. law professor David Crane were roped in to be part of the advisory panel.
