Final warning to 67000 persons who maintained dengue breeding sites

The public health inspectors union states that final warnings have been issued to 67 thousand 869 persons for maintaining dengue breeding sites.

Chairman of the union Upul Rohana stated that legal action will e filed against another 8650 individuals.

PHI’s have inspected 542 thousand houses, public and private institutions thus far.

26 thousand 792 dengue patients were reported for the past 8 months while 1468 dengue patients were reported during the first 2 weeks of August.
