Next round of discussions on Indo-Sri Lanka fisheries issue on 29th in New Delhi

The next round of talks between Sri Lanka and India with regard to the fishermens issue is scheduled to be held on the 29th of this month in New Delhi.

Ministry Spokesperson Narendra Rajapaksa stated that Fisheries Director General Nimal Hettiarachchi, Advisor to the Ministry S Subhasinghe and Additional Solicitor general Suhada Gamlath will participate at the discussions.

Meanwhile, Sri Lankan navy yesterday handed over 94 Tamil Nadu fishermen taken into custody by them to the Indian Coast Guard at the International Maritime Boundary Line.
