A decision was made to hold the 2nd joint committee meeting between the two countries regarding the India-Sri Lanka fisheries issue of Palk Strait in Sri Lanka.

The local convener of India - Sri Lanka Fisheries Summit S.P. Anthony Muttu stated that the decision was made following the first joint committee meeting held in New Delhi yesterday.

He told our news team that they will discuss regarding the release of the seized fishing vessels.
