Nobody can plunder public property: President.-Video
President Mahinda Rajapaksa said nobody can plunder public property.
Speaking at a public gathering held at Sevanagala today, President Rajapaksa said the people of Uva were mistreated in the past and this government has taken action to do justice for them.
The meeting was held after opening of Mahindodaya Technical laboratories at Bandaranayake Vidyalaya of Kiri Ibban Aara, Kovul Aaragama Vidyalaya and Sevenagala Maha Vidyalaya.
Meanwhile the President met the Muslim community living in Moneragala district last evening.
During the meeting with the Muslim community, President Rajapaksa stated the propaganda that disseminated about religious disharmony in the country is false.
He also requested Muslims to live in harmony with the other communities.
