The two days set for postal voting of the Uva Provincial Council election ended today.

The election monitoring agencies stated majority of government workers were present to cast their vote during the two days.

An election secretariat spokesman stated those who failed to cast their vote yesterday and today can do so at district election offices on the 11th.

Meanwhile Police Media Spokesman office stated 18 persons have been arrested for violating election law.

At the same time, Election secretariat has received 132 election related complaints and 81 out of them are from the Moneragala district.

An election secretariat spokesman told our news team 18 complaints are of threats, wrath and property destruction.
