The students union of the Sabaragamuwa University is engaged in a protest based on 10 demands near the Balangoda – Paba-hinna clock tower along the Colombo – Badulla main road.

Deputy Minister of Higher Education Nandimithra Ekanayaka who arrived at the scene engaged in a conversation with the students and requested them to come for a discussion on the 10th of this month.
