Hareen and Anura Vidanagamage secured highest preferential votes in Badulla District-UVA PC Poll 2014
The results of Badulla district preferential votes for Uva provincial council election was released this evening.
Anura Vidanagamage received the highest number of preferential votes in UPFA securing 59,316 preferential votes.
Chamara Sampath came second among the top vote takers securing 34,337 preferential votes, while Sendil Thondaman received 31,858 preferential votes and was placed third in the list.
UNP Chief Ministerial candidate Hareen Fernando topped the preferential vote list from his party after receiving 173,993 preferential votes.
Velaa-yudam Rudradeepan secured the second place after winning 37,457 preferential votes while Sunil Jayantha Kannangara came third in the list by securing 28,290 preferential votes.
JVP Chief Ministerial candidate Samantha Vidyaratne received 14,161 preferential votes.
