Peradeniya Uni, Economics Division submits a detailed report to the HRC
Peradeniya University Economics Division submitted to the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission yesterday a detailed report about the flaws in the recently held A/L exam Economics question paper and the marking method.
The Lanka Teacher Union had recently complained to the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission saying that there were flaws in the Economics question paper.
On this occasion while the university teachers too were summoned to the Human Rights Commission, they were instructed to submit a detailed report about it.
Accordingly a team including Professor Anomaa Abeyratne and Senior Lecturer Dr. Prasanna Perera of the Peradeniya University Economics Division prepared a 34-page detailed report and handed it over to the Kandy branch of the Sri Lanka Human Rights Commission yesterday.
The relevant report is scheduled to be sent to the Colombo Human Rights Commission head office.
