Investigations regarding fish in Bowathanne reservoir suddenly dying-Video

Inspections have commenced with regard to the dying of fish in the Bovataenna reservoir in Navula in Matale.

Fishermen engaged in fishing in the reservoir told our news team that during the past few days the fish in the reservoir were suddenly dying.

Speaking to our news team, several fishermen of the area said that even by now thousands of fish had died.

Responding to a query by our news team Naavula Divisional Council Chairman  Sanath Dassanayake said that several water samples had been sent to the  PHI office.
