Thundershowers will develop at several places in the Uva and Eastern provinces during the afternoon or evening.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers.
Duty meteorologist Ananda Perera requests the General public to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning activities.
At the same time, Deputy Director of Disaster Management Center Pradeep Kodippili says the land slide warning issued to Kithulgala in the Kegalle district and Kurunduwatta in the Kandy district has been extended till tomorrow morning.
