German government supports to establish of a new centre for vocational training

The German government is supporting the establishment of a new centre for vocational training in Kilinochchi.

Deputy Head of Mission of Germany to Sri Lanka and the Maldives Michael Dohmen expressed these views addressing the National Forum on Small and Medium Enterprise Empowerment 2014, organized by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.

The creation of vocational training institutions is an important path of bi-lateral corporation.

Commenting on the SMEs role in the German economy, Dohmen, said, “Germany accounts for approximately two million SMEs which constitutes more less 99.3% of overall enterprises.
