Frontliners announce their policies on current politics
According to the member of the Front line party Central Working Committee Duminda Nagamuwa, JVP attempts to boycott the upcoming Presidential election saying that it is illegal.
He said this while addressing an event held in Colombo to launch a book written about the standpoint of Frontliners Socialist Party regarding several issues currently debated in the country.
This book proposes to abolish the Executive Presidency and to immediately prepare a government system of power devolution.
Meanwhile, the party’s Leadership Council member Kumar Gunaratnam stated that JVP has become a minor party by now.
While speaking to our news team from France, he said that his party is currently holding talks with other parties on presenting a leftist candidate to contest for the Presidential Election.
