Showers or thunder showers will occur particularly in the Eastern, Southern, Northern and North Central provinces.
Very heavy showers of more than 150 mili metres are also likely.
Due to the active cloudiness to the east and to the South of Sri Lanka, sudden increase of wind speed over the sea areas off the coast extending from Jaffna to Galle via Batticalo and Hambanthota is possible.
