JHU's final decision regarding whom they will support during the Presidential election within 3 days.
The final standpoint of JHU regarding the Presidential Election will be announced next Tuesday.
JHU media spokesman Nishantha Sri Warnasinghe stated that they have received the standpoint of SLFP in writing regarding their set of proposals yesterday.
The central working committee of JHU scheduled to hold a lengthy discussion regarding SLFP standpoint next Monday, and their final standpoint will be announced later.
The 7 proposals passed during the recent 11th National General convetion of the JHU was handed over to President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
It was decided that they will come to an agreement within 5 days following a discussion.
Later a meeting was held between SLFP and JHU, however, it ended without reaching an agreement.
Meanwhile, JHU representatives boycotted during the vote taking of the 2nd reading of the budget.
