Rajagiriya Hewawitharana school principal still missing.
The police says that search operations for the Rajagiriya – Hewaa-withaarana Mahaa Vidyaalaya Principal still continues.
The Principal N.N. Chitrapaala’s elder brother had complained to the Kottaawa police that the principal had gone missing from last morning.
Preparations necessary for inaugurating the school technical wing last afternoon under the patronage of the president had been made.
However it is said that he had gone to the house of the school vice principal resident at Maalapalla in Kottaawa about 6.40 last morning.
The principal had then handed over all school keys to the vice principal saying that he would get late to come to school.
However the school technical wing inauguration celebration under the patronage of the President had taken place as pre-planned.
Hewaavithaarana Mahaa Vidyaalaya School Principal’s elder brother N. N. Premasiri told our news team that so far there had not been any information about his brother.
The 46 – year old school principal had come to the Hewaa-vithaarana Mahaa Vidyaalaya about one and a half years after obtaining a transfer from a school in Badulla.
Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana told our news team that a special police squad had launched operations in search for the school principal.
