Modi ready to meet President at Katmandu SAARC Summit.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ahead of his Nepal visit to attend the SAARC Summit said development of close relations with neighbors was a key priority for his government as he looks forward to hold talks with President Mahinda Rajapakse on the margins of the Summit.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa left for Nepal, this morning, to attend the 18th SAARC Summit.
The President will attend the opening session of the Summit tomorrow and the retreat on Thursday.
In addition to the SAARC-related events, President Rajapaksa will also visit Lumbini, the birthplace of the Lord Buddha.
While there, the President is scheduled to inaugurate the Dutugemunu Pilgrims Rest, an administrative building at the Buddhist University and a newly constructed bridge.
