Printing of Ballot Papers begin: 600,000 postal vote applications
Printing of Ballot papers for the presidential election will begin today.
Government Press Chief Lalith de Silva told our news division that the relevant printing would be over in 15 days.
Additional Election Commissioner U. Amaradasa said that more than 600 thousand postal vote applications had been received for the presidential election.
He said that certifying of the list of Government employees eligible for postal vote would take place on 12th this month.
