Colombo Municipal Council budget passed by majority votes

The 2015 budget of the UNP governed Colombo Municipal Council was passed by 30 majority votes.

31 votes were received in favor of the budget presented by the Mayor A.J.M. Musammil, while UPFA councilor Mahinda Kahandagama cast his vote against the budget.

12 councilors refrained from voting while 9 were not present during the session.

The budget vote taking of the Colombo Municipal council, which comprise of 53 councilors, was conducted yesterday.
