The Common Opposition stated that stern action will be taken against the government officials who violate the Establishment Code after January 9th.

Co-media spokesman of the common opposition MP Mangala Samaraweera announced this during a media conference held today at the Opposition Leader’s office.

Addressing the media, Co-media spokesman of the common opposition MP Rajitha Senarathna said there is a declining tendency of people’s participation in election rallies organized by the government.

Meanwhile minister Mahinda Yapa Abeywardana said in a UPFA media conference held yesterday revealed of a conspiracy to destabilize the political situation in the country.

At the same time, media minister Keheliya Rambukwella said in a public rally held in Kundasale yesterday that people have few days more to fulfill their duty.
