Many contradictions in the election manifesto of the common candidate: Min Yapa
Lanka Samasamaja Party Secretary minister Tissa Vitharana says that Western countries are making human rights allegations against the government and attempting to topple the government after measures were taken to stop privatization in the country.
Meanwhile the alternative group of Communist Party has decided to support common candidate Maithreepala Sirisena.
Addressing a media briefing held in Colombo this morning, communist party central working committee member Hema Wilbert announced their decision to the media.
At the same time, SLFP General Secretary Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa told in a media briefing that there are lots of contradictions in the election manifesto of the common candidate.
Meanwhile JHU President Athuraliye Rathana Thera said that the government is carrying out a massive false propaganda to convince people that the army including certain persons would be taken before an international judiciary.
The Thera disclosed this during a media briefing being held at this moment at the common candidate’s presidential election operation office.
