The All Ceylon Muslim Congress led by former minister Rishard Badi Udin has decided today to support common candidate Maithreepala Sirisena.
Addressing the media briefing organized by a Common Opposition, former minister Rishard Badi Undin said that the party representatives who met this morning took this decision.
All Ceylon Muslim Congress Eastern PC members Ameer Ali who was appointed to parliament from the UPFA national list also participated in the media briefing.
As MPs Rishard Badi Udin and Ameer Ali’s cross over, 7 provincial councilors and 69 local government members of All Ceylon Muslim Congress have joined the two MPs to support common candidate Maithreepala Sirisena.

Addressing the media, UNP National Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe said that former minister Rishard Badi Udin’s party joined the common candidate to support him to create a democratic society where safety is assured for Sinhalese, Tamils, Muslims, Burgers and other communities to live in peace.
Meanwhile common candidate Maithreepala Sirisena said that he would assure the trust that was put on him by All Ceylon Muslim Congress.
