The Additional election Commissioner U. Amaradasa said the postal voting which started this morning was held without any hindrance today.

The postal voting started at 8.30 this morning and ended at 4.15 in the afternoon.

541 thousand 432 public servants have been qualified for postal voting in the forthcoming Presidential election 2015.

The election monitors said that the turnout of postal voters was 70% today.

Paffrel executive director Rohana Hetti Arachchi said that vote marking continued peacefully except a few minor incidents.
