Deputy Minister Nishantha Muthuhettigama who had left for Singapore has spoken to a Journalist in Sri Lanka.

Speaking via telephone Nishantha Muthuhettigama says that he was treated well at Bandaranaike International Airport.

Deputy Minister Nishantha Muthuhettigama who was issued with a warrant by Baddegama magistrate court left for Singapore in the early hours of Friday.

Muthuhettigama who is wanted by court, leaves for Singapore

Deputy Minister Nishantha Muthuhettigama who is wanted by court in connection with the incident of setting fire to the stage of the Common candidate in Wanduramba, has left to Singapore.

Police media spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana informed regarding the matter at a media briefing held in Colombo today, saying that the Immigration and Emigration officials have confirmed his departure.

However, on his way to Singapore Mutuhettigama has also engaged in a telephone conversation with a journalist.

Our Airport reporter stated that Nishantha Muthuhettigama, left the country in the early hours of Friday by a Singapore bound- Singapore Airlines flight.

Baddegama magistrate court has issued an arrest warrant for Deputy Minister Nishantha Muthuhettigama & his driver on the Waduraba incident.
