China recently initiated providing naval facilities in the State of Gibuti saying that it would transform the State into another Singapore.

The project of Port Development  in Sri Lanka and Myanmar too is carried out with Chinese financial aid.

The South East Asian naval Silk Route lies across Myanmar.
