The business councils of Pakistan and Sri Lanka yesterday signed Memorandum of Understanding to accelerate bilateral trade and utilise benefits of the Free Trade Agreement.

The MoU was signed by President of Sri Lanka-Pakistan Business Council of Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Khalil Naseer, Chairman of the council established under the umbrella of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

Commerce and Industries Minister who is heading a 19-member delegation to participate in Pakistan’s first textile exhibition TEXPO – 2016, said that both the countries have economic relations for the past many years.
