Central Bank Governor Arjun Mahendran said the Chinese Yuan will be made a convertible currency in Sri Lanka after the China Bank sets up operations in Colombo.
The Governor of Central Bank joined the Sri Lankan delegation along with Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and engaged in bilateral talks on economy between the two countries.
It was agreed during these talks to make Chinese Yuan a convertible currency in Sri Lanka.
