IPM National HR Conference 2017 to explore Digitalization, Disruption, Diversity and Design


IPM Sri Lanka – the Nation’s leader in Human Resources Management – announced that it’s much awaited event “The IPM National Human Resources Conference 2017” will be held on June 20th and 21st at the BMICH in Colombo.

This conference is the largest HR conference in South Asia.

The theme of this year’s conference is, “Emerging HR Leaders: High Tech & High Touch”, and it is expected to attract around 1,000 local and foreign participants.

According to the President of IPM, the conference will bring together many experts in the fields of HR and technology.

The keynote address of the conference will be delivered by Dr. Ravi Fernando on the topic, “Emerging HR Leaders & their role in Driving Strategy”.

Eminent speakers including Dr. Saman Vimalaratne, Dr. Raj Raghavan, Prof. Ajantha Dharmasiri, Ms. Mara Tolia and Ms. Esther Makintosh.

The panel discussion on the timely topic of “Transformational Leadership” will be moderened by Ajith Bopitiya.

The panelists include, Carl Cruz- Cairman of Unilever Sri Lanka, Jagath Pathirana, CEO-Expolanka Holdings, Ms.Bindu Vinodhan- Founder, The Founder of Institute of Leadership Learning and Transformation, Ms.Smitha Murthy- Leadership and Organization Development Consultant from Bangalore, India, and Ms.Shehara Jayawardhane-Group joint Managing Director, Mclarens Group.

IPM was founded in 1959 and currently it compromises over 900 professional members who serve in both public and private organizations.
