Central Bank says due to the rise in import cost for rice and oil, the country's import bill for 2017 has exceeded $ 21 billion.

The CBSL data showed that import costs for gold and wheat flour have also risen.

Meanwhile, the import bill for machinery, sugar and fertilizer have gone down considerably.
