Softlogic Life Signs MOU with Kelaniya University for Higher Diploma courses for their insurance advisors


Sri Lanka's fastest-growing life insurer, Softlogic Life, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Kelaniya for both a diploma and higher diploma in financial service management. The Diploma and Higher Diploma courses are offered for the first time in Sri Lanka. Softlogic Life Insurance PLC is a subsidiary of Softlogic Capital PLC and is part of the Softlogic Group, with interests in Healthcare, Retail, ICT, Leisure, Automobiles and Financial Services.

Softlogic Life aims to strengthen their team of experienced insurance advisors through this unique new initiative. These courses are accredited by the University Grants Commission in Sri Lanka. The company desires to boost the reputation of their insurance sales advisors further by giving them a unique opportunity to be legitimately qualified members of the country's educated workforce

Softlogic Life wants to make the insurance advisory a professional, lucrative career path for their employees by equipping them with specialised knowledge and training. Softlogic Life has been crowned as a 'Great Place to Work' for the fourth consecutive year. The company plans to position the graduates of this particular programme in academic dress at the company's annual gala convention.  This will also encourage many others to follow in their footsteps.
