Asian Development Bank said the GDP growth of South Asian countries comprising of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka for 2013 will be 6.2%, down from earlier projected 6.4%.

It said growth outlook for 2012 has been cut to 5.3% from the previous estimated 5.5%.

Last year South Asian region grew by 6.2%
