Dubai-based Fakih Collection, a specialist handicraft retailer wants to increase its volume and range of items from Sri Lanka following strong demand.

Sri Lankan handicrafts, which are bought from over 2,000 crafts families in Sri Lanka are being sold at Dubai’s Jumeira Shopping mall and Karama Market, and also at stores in Qatari, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi.

The is about 200 thousand dollars worth of goods from Sri Lanka each month and its managing director N P Fakih had visited Sri Lanka to tie up more suppliers.
