Sri Lanka releases details on foreign reserves, gold holdings
Sri Lanka has released a breakdown of foreign assets and gold holdings in official forex reserves for November 2013 as well as liabilities involving swaps and other payments.
Deputy Central Bank Governor Nandalal Weerasinghe said the breakdown complied with a standard International Monetary Fund reporting format.
Sri Lanka listed gross official reserves at 7,005 million US dollars, including balances from Asian Clearing Union, a regional clearing arrangement involving mostly countries with non-convertible currencies.
