SL Requested to Establish Trade Office in the Strategic Port of Gwadar
The Speaker of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan, Pakistan, Mir Jan Muhammad Khan, along with a group of provincial assembly members, called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees.
At the meeting, Jamali requested Sri Lanka to establish a trade office in the strategic Port of Gwardar, which is located in Balochistan.
The port will serve as a gateway to the strategically significant Strait of Hurmoz, which has been described as the world’s most important oil choke point.
