In 2014 North American box office revenue saw the biggest decline in nine years as revenue tumbled 5 percent over 2013.

However in 2015 Domestic box office revenue has hit 5.303 billion Dollars year-to-date, an all-time high.

The boom is due to hits such as American Sniper and followed by Furious 7, Cinderella, Pitch Perfect 2, Home and Universal's Fifty Shades of Grey.
