Superstar Rajinikanth’s forthcoming Tamil film is reportedly set to hit screens in the month of April. The gangster-thriller flick is written and directed by Pa. Ranjith who has predominantly served Tamil cinema industry. The Madras filmmaker reveals what the much awaited project has stored in for the movie buffs.
The director discloses that Kabali, a gangster played by the Lingaa star, is a self-confident, angry man who talks heart touching thoughtful lines. The filmmaker seems highly impressed by the Thalaiva of Indian cinema and says that he has given a reality performance.
Indian film and stage actress Radhika Apte, who plays the lead character's wife, has also left no stone unturned in giving an outstanding performance. Applauding the Dhoni heroine’s capability, the filmmaker stated that she gave beautiful expressions while shooting a song in Goa depicting the love between a husband and wife in their old age.
While Rajinikanth acted in white beard for 75 days, Indian film actress Dhansika - who plays a Thailand gangster - gave herself a complete makeover for the film. Sacrificing her long hair, the Vizhithiru actress will now be seen with a boy cut in the flick. The movie also features Kishore as antagonist, Kalaiyarasan as a teacher, Dinesh Ravi as son of another gangster and John Vijay as Kabali’s adviser and friend.
The Attakathi director mentioned that shooting for the film is complete and editing is under way. Desimartini wishes strokes of luck to Pa. Ranjith’s team, filmbeat reports.
