The latest trailer for Steven Spielberg’s adaptation of The BFG has given us our first proper look at the big friendly giant.
A new two and a half minute clip, which was released few days back, reveals the CGI enhanced version of the classic character from Roald Dahl’s book in all his glory.
It also includes a glimpse of the BFG’s homeland Giant Country, which looks pretty amazing.
Oscar-winner Mark Rylance is the man behind the 24-foot tall giant who befriends a young orphan named Sophie (played by Ruby Barnhill) and teams up with her to fight against evil giants who eat children.
Bill Hader, Penelope Wilton and Rebecca Hall also star in the film, which marks the first time Spielberg has directed a Disney-branded movie.
An animated film based on Dahl’s 1982 book came out in 1989, with David Jason voicing the BFG.
However this is the first live-action version.
Disney’s The BFG will be released in the UK on July 22.
