Socialite Paris Hilton is producing a documentary on her life.
The 35-year-old is producing the film with 9.14 Pictures and XYZ Films. The project's directors Don Argott and Sheena Joyce insist that their subject is being "misunderstood" by the public, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
"Paris Hilton is a modern day-Marilyn Monroe -- beautiful, iconized, world famous, shaped by mass media and misunderstood. We are thrilled to work with Paris to explore her complicated relationship with the public, the press and the politics that shape our perception of a modern celebrity," the directors have been quoted as saying.
The yet untitled documentary will begin filming in Ibiza later this summer and is being introduced to buyers at the Cannes film fest this week.
