Late singer and musician Prince’s Yellow Cloud electric guitar was sold for over £100,000 at an auction in the US.
The owner of the American football team the Indianapolis Colts, Jim Irsay, purchased the guitar that Prince used at gigs until the mid-1990s.
Mr Irsay, who collects musical instruments, has paid 137,500 dollars (£103,000) for the guitar at an auction on Saturday.
Heritage Auctions, which conducted the auction in Beverley Hills, California, says the solid body guitar was a favourite of the late musician from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s.
Prince died on April 21 at his Paisley Park home in Minnesota of an accidental overdose of fentanyl.
Mr Irsay also has instruments once owned by musicians Jerry Garcia of Grateful Dead, John Lennon and Ringo Star of The Beatles and singer-songwriter Bob Dylan.
The auction also featured other Prince-related memorabilia.
