Loving, the true-life story of the Virginia couple whose marriage led to the 1967 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that struck down laws against interracial marriage, is the winner of this year's Best Movie for Grownups Award.

Presented by AARP The Magazine, the Movies for Grownups Awards celebrate and encourage films with unique appeal to movie lovers with a grownup state of mind — and recognize the inspiring artists who make them.

Actors, directors and writers become eligible for the awards after their 50th birthday.

This year's most-honored films are Fences, Manchester by the Sea and 20th Century Women, with two wins each.

While Denzel Washington is named the Best Actor and Annette Bening the Best Actress.

The awards will be presented Feb. 6 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
