Salman Khan versus 'Veer' producer !

The spat between Salman Khan and the producer of his 2010 film “Veer” has turned uglier with the latter filing a lawsuit against the film employee’s association that is supporting Salman’s stand.

It’s no secret that “Veer”, produced by Vijay Galani and starring Salman Khan in the leading role of a warrior, was a flop.

The film should have ceased to make anymore news, but then Salman Khan alleged that the producer has defaulted on his payment to him.

According to Salman, the producer Vijay Galani did not pay him the promised acting fee of Rs. 15 crore.

The actor even filed a complaint with FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) which sided with Salman Khan and issued a directive banning Galani from producing anymore films in Bollywood until he paid the money to Salman.

However, Galani has now upped the ante against Salman Khan and FWICE.

Galani has filed a lawsuit alleging that the non-cooperation directive issued against him is illegal and not endorsed by AMTPP (Association of Motion Pictures Producers’ Association).

Galani says he owes no money to Salman Khan and there is no paper to prove to the contrary.

He wants the non-cooperation directive against him withdrawn so that he can return to film production again.
However, with Salman Khan sticking to his stand (that the due money be paid to him first), Galani won’t find it easy getting the directive redressed.
