Kim Novak, the 79-year-old "Vertigo" actress, will be honoured next month at the TCM Classic Film Festival.

On April 14, as part of the TCM Classic Film Festival, Novak will add her hand and footprints to the Grauman's Chinese Theater forecourt, where Hollywood stars have been honoured since the 1920s.

She will also introduce a screening of "Vertigo" and participate in an interview with TCM host Robert Osborne for a special scheduled to be broadcast next year.

Novak's other films include the musical "Pal Joey," with Frank Sinatra and Rita Hayworth; "Jeanne Eagels," featuring Novak in the title role as a troubled 1920s star, with Jeff Chandler as her love interest; and "Bell, Book and Candle," starring Novak as a witch who again entrances Stewart, this time on the eve of his marriage.
