Sir Cliff Richard spoke about his private life in a recent interview. Sir Cliff, who first hit the charts in 1958 with the song Move It and who has now sold more than 250 million records around the world said, he had never wanted the responsibility of having a wife and family.
He said he just didn’t get married. He doesn’t want to have a responsibility, because he always felt that marriage would be the major responsibility of his life, and he added that if a child came along, it would be a multi-major responsibility.
Asked about his friendship with Australian singer Olivia Newton-John, Sir Cliff replied: I quote: “Let’s face it, we all loved Olivia. She had that effect. Unquote.
