Kenny Rogers on Dolly Parton: We were friends with each other for 30 years'
When Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton decided to make beautiful music together in 1983 with their hit "Islands in the Stream," it led to rumours that their partnership was more than just a country-crossover connection.
When this was asked from Kenny Rogers, he joked about the rumours, saying that he always says that they were good friends with each other for over 30 years, and that friendship continues.
Just last year, Rogers and Parton reunited in the studio for another single, "You Can't Make Old Friends."
Meanwhile, a new exhibit on the Kenny Rogers’s life and career opened at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville recently.
