Three+Flights+Diverted+To+Mattala+Due+To+Heavy+Mist

Three Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) bound flights-two SriLankan, one Fly Dubai- were diverted to the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport (MRIA) this morning due to heavy mist in the Katunayake area.

Accordingly, one Fly Dubai flight arriving from Dubai and two SriLankan Airlines flights from Beijing and Doha were diverted to the Mattala Airport.

The Dubai flight was to arrive in BIA at 5.20 a.m. and landed in Mattala at 5.48 a.m.
