Sri Lankan athletes showered the Island with eight gold medals as both men and women teams dominated the 12th South Asian Games tracks with classy finish in the 4x100m relay finals.

The dominance of Sri Lanka was well appreciated by spectators gathered to witness a tight fight.

Sri Lanka is currently at the second place with a total medal count of 157 while hosting India is dominating the SAG leader board.
