SLFP membership of Former minister Prof. G.L Peries has been cancelled.
General Secretary of the SLFP Minister Duminda Disanayake noted that according to the party constitution, if a member obtains membership of another party, the party membership will be definitely cancelled.
Accordingly, the SLFP membership of Prof. G.L Peries who has been named the chairman of the Podujana Peramuna has been cancelled.
Further, the general secretary of the SLFP added that in future if an SLFP member obtains the membership of another party, his membership will also be cancelled definitely.
