Oral+cancer+on+the+rise+due+to+Tobacco+%26+Areca+Nut+consumption

Health authorities have indicated that the risk of oral cancer has increased as a result of people quitting smoking moving towards consuming tobacco and areca nut.

 Deputy Director General of Dental Services Dr. Jayasundara Bandara stated that this is mainly observed in youth.
