Thel Baala's body brought to the island

The body of the prominent drug dealer and gang leader during late 1990s and early 2000s "Thel Baala", who died in India was brought to Sri Lanka.

Thelbala has many charges against him on drug trafficking.

His body was brought to the island this morning on board Sri Lankan Airlines flight UL 126.

Thel Baala who fled to India, has died due to allergic reactions caused by internal organ transplanting. Later his body has been sent back to Sri Lanka.

Thel Baala’s body is currently lying at one of his brother’s residence in Orugodawatta – Wellampitiya.
